I really don't have a problem when folks ask me how it feels to be in the small 30% who support President Bush and the troops.
I reconcile it with the fact that the other 70% knows the names of every contestant and judge on American Idol, but can't name their own two Senators and their Representative.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

A decision not to support Bush has absolutely NOTHING to do with supporting the troops. Frankly there are few things I find more offensive than the idea that support for a terrible President has anything to do with supporting American's in uniform.
Please don't give me your knee-jerk right wing response either. I did my time in uniform, how about you?
